PopNet is a resource for population information produced and maintained by the Population Reference Bureau with funding assistance from the US Agency for International Development. http://www.popnet.org

Population Concern Set up in the 1970s to raise money for family planning programmes in less developed countries. Now works with partner organisations in less developed countries, providing information and services relating to all aspects of sexual and reproductive health. http://www.populationconcern.org.uk

House of Commons Library. Research papers lodged with MPs library are available online. Office for National Statistics (UK) ONS data services, recent Census developments, access to public data and a section on the UK in Figures. Has moved to the friendlier National Statistics website. 2001 Census The Census is a count of all people and households in the UK and is normally taken every ten years. It provides statistical information for planning and monitoring services including schools, health services, roads and libraries. The latest Census took place on 29 April 2001 and first results from the 2001 Census will be published on Monday 30 September 2002. http://www.statistics.gov.uk/census2001/

Strictly speaking 'migration' is not on the WJEC specification at AS, but population change is (both urban and rural change modules). However, migration does cut across several topics on the A2 specification while not being explicity studied in any of them.
